Dr. Ethan Eisen, Licensed Clinical Psychologist

I am Dr. Ethan Eisen (he/him), a Licensed Clinical Psychologist dedicated to helping clients navigate life’s challenges with compassion, skill, and respect. I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from The George Washington University, where I trained in a wide range of therapeutic techniques to address diverse emotional, relational, and behavioral concerns.
A significant part of my work focuses on supporting veterans, particularly those coping with the impact of combat trauma and moral injury. I also have extensive experience providing teletherapy for individuals, couples, and groups—offering a flexible and effective option for those who may not be able to meet in person. I am currently accepting virtual appointments only and welcoming new clients.
In our sessions, I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and understood. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your needs, drawing on evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and acceptance-based approaches to help you make meaningful, lasting changes.
In addition to my clinical work, I remain actively engaged in research that deepens my understanding of the challenges my clients face. I have written, lectured, and served as a peer reviewer on topics including post-traumatic stress, child abuse prevention, domestic violence, moral injury, substance use, disability and sexuality, and spirituality. I am also the author of Talmud on the Mind, which explores how ancient wisdom can guide and enrich our lives today.
