Brittni Bittner, LCPC
I’m Brittni Bittner (she/her), LCPC, and I earned my master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University in 2021. As a therapist, I take a personalized and genuine approach, striving to support individuals through the various stages of life. I believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship and work hard to create a safe, trusting space built on honesty, respect, and non-judgmental support.
I’m passionate about working with adults, adolescents, and children as young as seven. I tailor my approach to fit each client’s unique needs, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered therapy, behavioral techniques, and more.
My experience includes working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, where I developed individualized treatment plans and used play therapy in both school and home settings. I earned my certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) during this time. Additionally, I’ve worked with children and adolescents who struggle with anxiety, adjustment challenges, and depression. I’ve also led group sessions focused on building social skills, fostering strengths, and preparing for academic success.
I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, VA, Cigna, Aetna, Medicaid, Tricare, and Self-Pay.
