    Sasha Connor (she/her) is a compassionate therapist dedicated to guiding clients on their mental health journey by creating a warm, supportive environment while providing psychoeducation to build lifelong skills. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Maryland under clinical supervision from Emma Ann Nowak, LCSW-C. Sasha earned her Master’s in Social Work with a clinical focus from Fordham University in 2024 and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2021.

    During her graduate program, Sasha provided therapy at a community mental health agency, serving a diverse population that included individuals from various minority backgrounds, children, adolescents, women, men, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community facing challenges with anxiety, depression, PTSD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorders, and trauma. Additionally, she spent two years as a case manager, offering supportive services and case management to those at risk or experiencing homelessness. Sasha has three years of experience as a substitute teacher in both general and special education, where she dedicated significant time and effort to support children on the autism spectrum and those with emotional and intellectual disabilities.

    Sasha is committed to working with clients of all ages and is particularly passionate about supporting individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma. As a mother and military spouse, she has a deep dedication to helping military families and children, understanding the unique challenges they often encounter.

    Sasha utilizes a variety of client-centered therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, mindfulness techniques, and trauma-informed methods. She tailors her approach to meet the specific needs and goals of each client.

    Sasha is currently accepting new clients for both in-person and telehealth sessions. She accepts insurance from BCBS, Aetna, and Cigna, as well as self-pay clients.
