    Dr. Jacqui Grantland (she/her)

Welcome to Inner Peace Therapeutic Services. I’m Dr. Grantland, the founder and owner of IPTS. I hold a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Walden University and an M. Ed in Counselor Education from Texas Tech University. I have had the pleasure of working in the mental health field for over 20 years with a diverse clientele. My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, acknowledging the uniqueness of each person’s journey. It is an honor to hear your story and walk this journey with you, witnessing your courage and resilience as we navigate the path toward healing together.

Utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques including EMDR, CBT, CPT, Hypnotherapy, and TF-CBT, I tailor my approach to fit your specific needs. My experience as a U.S. Air Force veteran and a spouse of a career Air Force veteran has given me insight into the challenges faced by the military community, thus fueling my passion for serving veterans experiencing PTSD.

I am also passionately dedicated to assisting individuals with eating disorders/disordered eating through the Health at Every Size (HAES) model. This framework is a fundamental aspect of my practice, emphasizing body acceptance, challenging societal and personal beliefs about health and weight, and focusing on well-being rather than weight loss. My commitment to the HAES model ensures a supportive and judgment-free environment, encouraging clients to develop a peaceful relationship with their bodies and food. My connection to this field is not only professional but deeply personal, providing me with unique insights into the challenges faced by those struggling with their relationship with food and body image.

In addition to my work with the military, I have extensive training with trauma victims, PTSD, and Eating Disorders. I served as the Sexual Assault Response Coordinator for the Army and sat on the board of the Rape Crisis Center. Additional previous work experience includes working with victims of domestic violence, victims of natural disasters, and corrections.

I am also committed to mentoring the next generation of counselors and therapists. I am an LCPC supervisor and provide supervision for graduate and post-graduate LGPCs. In addition, I am also an Adjunct Professor in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Walden University. I currently accept BCBS, Cigna, Aetna, United HealthCare, Optum, VA, Tricare, some EAP, and private pay.
