Amanda Burgett, Master Level Intern (Under Clinical Supervision)
Amanda is a Social Work Intern who holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree and is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work degree, with an anticipated graduation in November. She is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and individuals as they navigate emotions, life challenges, and personal growth in ways that feel natural and developmentally appropriate.
Amanda’s therapeutic approach is rooted in person-centered and person-in-environment perspectives, recognizing that each individual’s experiences, relationships, and environment play an important role in emotional well-being. She strives to create a warm and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel supported throughout the therapeutic process.
She is especially passionate about working with children who may struggle to express themselves or make sense of difficult emotions. Amanda’s goal is to meet each client where they are while helping them build emotional awareness, confidence, coping skills, and resilience.
Amanda believes healing happens through connection and values building strong therapeutic relationships with her clients. She offers both in-person and virtual sessions. If you are interested in scheduling an appointment with Amanda or learning more about the benefits of working with a counseling intern, please contact our office for additional information.
