    Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Kelsey graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2020 with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Kelsey is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC).

As a therapist, Kelsey recognizes you are the expert on yourself, and she strives to support you with an individualized, authentic approach. Kelsey offers her clients a space that is supportive and free of judgment. Whether your troubles include anxiety that is holding you back from living your best life, depression that has you in a fog, the pain of addiction (either for you personally or caring for a loved one who is struggling), or trouble in another area, Kelsey is here to help!

The theoretical orientation that guides much of Kelsey’s work with clients is CBT or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which maintains that what we think, feel, and do are all interconnected. CBT has changed her own life, and she is always excited to work with clients to assist them in reclaiming their own lives with the help of CBT therapy. In addition to CBT, Kelsey incorporates solution-focused therapy and mindfulness interventions to ensure each client receives therapy best suited for their needs.

Kelsey considers herself a dynamic communicator. In the past, Kelsey pursued education and professional endeavors in marketing communications. Currently, Kelsey has pursued a career change to follow her passion for assisting others as a therapist, fueled by her own experiences and those of her family. Kelsey has a strong interest in working with populations impacted by addiction and their families.

Kelsey accepts BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, and self-pay.
